Once your order has been placed, please refer to your tracking information for accurate delivery times. Call or email us for any questions.

We endeavour to dispatch your order within 24 hours, if ordered on the weekend, we'll get your order out on Monday.

How much is surfboard & softboard postage?

To ship boards, Sanbah uses TNT, Barnetts Couriers, and East Coast surfboard specific freight companies. Freight companies may contact you the day before to arrange delivery.

Sanbah can only send to a commercial business address in VIC, WA, SA, TAS & NT as freight companies cannot deliver to residential addresses in these areas. Delivery address must be zoned as commercial, NOT residential.

A commercial business may include a clothes shop, service station, gym, coffee shop, hair salon etc. A working from home business is not permitted.

Choose Postage at Checkout. Allow 2-7 days business days Shipping Time.

Boards over 8ft may incur additional fees due to the size & cost of shipping. We will contact you if this is the case.

My board has arrived damaged, who do I speak to?

Bummer! Don't fret though, we will get it sorted for you! Please email orders@sanbah.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage on the board and the box it came in and we will get you surfing in no time.

Why do you only deliver boards to a commercial business address in some states and areas?

We are only able to deliver to a commercial business address in most areas within Australia as our couriers cannot deliver to a residential address in these parts.

There is always a solution for this. Check with a friend, colleague or family member if you can have a board sent to their commercial business.

A commercial business may include a clothes shop, service station, gym, coffee shop, hair salon etc. A working from home business is not permitted.

Why do some items have an oversize fee charge?

Board covers & board racks to some areas have an oversize item charge shown at the shipping checkout. These items are generally very expensive to send and require extensive packing.

How much is general postage?

Free postage on orders $100 or over. A $9.95 flat rate for orders under $100 will occur.

Free postage excludes all sale items.

Postage on surfboards/softboards & other heavy items (boardracks) apply to various states, see below for surfboard & softboard shipping rates. Shipping applies to selected skate boards.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard shipping normally takes 2-7 days depending on your area. Same day shipping is available on all orders placed before 2pm.

Orders to WA, SA & NT may take longer.

Please refer to your tracking for accurate delivery times.

Do you ship Australia Wide?

We ship all products Australia wide! Even surfboards & softboards. Rates on surfboards/softboards & other heavy items may apply to various states.

We do not ship internationally at this stage. You can organise your own postage if you are outside of Australia.

Do you offer click & collect?

You can choose to pick up your purchase in-store. Please choose this option at the checkout instead of postage.

After you've placed your order online, wait to hear from us about your collection. We'll send you an email as soon as your items are ready to collect. Orders are usually ready for collection within an hour of purchase or as soon as the store opens the next day if you purchase outside store hours.

Please provide the following when collecting your order (Proof of purchase): your order confirmation,
Valid physical photo ID : Current driver's licence or passport.

Can someone else pick up my Click & Collect order?

Yes, you can nominate someone to collect the goods on your behalf when placing your order.

To nominate someone else to pick up your order just add their First name, Last name and Mobile number to the ‘special instructions/order notes’ section during the checkout process so that their name appears on the order when it's being prepared for collection. We’ll send the ‘Ready for collection’ email to the email entered.

What they need to bring when collecting

  • The order number: This will be in your order confirmation email.
  • Valid physical photo ID: For the nominated pickup person (current, driver's license or passport.

If I buy online, are the items in stock?

Our online stock is linked to our inventory system so what you see online is in stock. 

While we try to keep our inventory as accurate as possible, there will sometimes be errors in the system. In this instance, we will notify you as soon as possible and process a refund on the same day. 

I need to change my address?

We cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address being entered at the checkout. If you realise you have made a mistake, please contact us during business hours on(02) 4962 2420or emailorders@sanbah.com

I received a faulty or damaged item?

We are so sorry if you receive a product that is faulty or incorrect. If this happens, please follow the below so that we can sort the issue out as quickly as possible for you!

Email us atorders@sanbah.com with your order number, a brief description of the fault/incorrect item along with a photo of item. Once we receive your email we’ll let you know the instructions for sending back the item.  On receipt of the item, we’ll inspect it and provide you with an update. If your return is approved, we’ll initiate a refund to your credit card (or original payment method). The time that it takes for the credit to process will depend on your cards issuer's policies

Returns & Refunds

Can I return a product?

Full priced items - eligible for exchange or online store credit.

Sale items - are eligible for a exchange or store credit.

*NOTE* - Due to our quality control on new boards, some boards with blemishes, finger prints, finger indentations, shop marks and/or UV light affected causing the board to yellow in colour are placed into our specials. ALL of these 'specials boards' are purely cosmetic - NONE of our specials have been ridden or have any structural issue. Please note - These boards are priced at the price they are because of the condition they are in. There is no returns or refunds on the surfboards that are on sale. If you have any further questions on condition of Boards on Sale, please email orders@sanbah.com

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help! We don’t refund on change of mind purchases, however we do exchange full priced items within 21 days of the order date.

Conditions of Return/Exchange

Returned items must be unused and in their original condition with all tags attached. The returned item must be in the original packaging (e.g. shoe box). The receipt or proof of purchase must be included with the return. The customer must cover the cost of the return postage for the item (unless deemed faulty by our team). If exchanging an item, the customer must cover the cost of the new item being posted. Payment will be required prior to the new item being sent out. 

How do I return an item?

If you aren’t happy with your purchase, make sure you have read our conditions of return then follow the steps below:

Email us at orders@sanbah.com with your order number and a note explaining whether you require an exchange or credit note. Pack all items with your invoice in a secure carton or reuse the original packaging. Please ensure that all boxed items are enclosed in a satchel or bubble wrap for protection or the return may be refused.

How long will it take to receive a credit or exchange?

Exchanges & credits are processed within 2 business days from when we receive the item(s) back.
