FCS 2 MF Glass Fibre Fusion Tri Fins
MF fin template with the new Glass Fibre Fusion Technology made in Switzerland.
Overview
Mick Fanning’s Glass Fibre Fusion fin features Rapid Flex Recovery produced by High Tension Tip Flex. This dynamic and responsive flex pattern harnesses energy and instantly snaps back to its original shape, producing increased speed and acceleration between turns and more control during critical moments.
The MF template, renowned as the pinnacle of high-performance surfing and favoured by professionals worldwide, is now offered in FCS's advanced Glass Fibre Fusion (GFF) technology. This Swiss-engineered construction, utilising robotic precision automation and premium materials, combines a uni-directional fiberglass skin and a 65% Short Strand Fiberglass + Resin Polymer composite base to produce a fin that’s light with exceptional strength and a responsive flex pattern. For the user this means an efficient conversion of power into acceleration, seamless rail-to-rail control at high speeds, and a feeling of connectivity between the board and fin.
“This is the new benchmark for precision engineering in a moulded performance surfboard fin. GFF construction feels really close to my black and white Performance Core fins I use daily. In fact, I can use them in a wider range of conditions from waist high to well overhead. These fins are stiff enough where I can push them as hard as I want, yet still get that flare and release, which is important for the way I like to surf”. - Mick Fanning
Ideal Conditions
- Open face, down-the-line waves, particularly good in point and reef breaks.
Board Types
- Designed to fit the FCS II Fin System.
- Recommended for performance shortboards with moderate-to-extreme rocker.
Fin Family
- Carver: Powerful, drawn-out turns with added hold.
Glass Fibre Fusion
Glass Fibre Fusion (GFF) construction combines a unidirectional fiberglass skin with a robust composite base made from 65% Short Strand Fiberglass and a Resin Polymer material producing a strong, lightweight fin with a smooth and predictable feel. The engineered firm flex pattern is designed to harness the surfer’s power and release it back in the form of acceleration and speed. This construction sets a new benchmark in fin performance.
