There’s plenty of reasons mid lengths have become a lot more popular in lineups around the world over the last two years. First and foremost, they’re incredibly user friendly. And, when designed well, a board like the Houdini is still super easy to manoeuvre and go top to bottom.
The pulled in round tail gives the Houdini drive down the line and control in more critical sections, while a full nose outline and generous distribution of volume up front provides stability, quick paddling, and the ability to skim over fat or slow sections. Ridden as a pure twin fin for speed down the line and release when you want it, we recommend a large template like the FCS2 Power Twin.
