Stacey Wave Slave Phantom Phlex Surfboard
A slave to the average, a slave to the wave. Own it. Destroy surf. This is the surfboard we've been riding in everything from 2-4 feet. You got mushy beachbreaks? Wave Slave has you covered. You got punchy rip bowls? Wave Slave has you covered.
A very user friendly surfboard for anyone looking to add spice to their quiver. Wave Slave carries more volume than The Flathead, but you ride it in the same size. It's perfect as a step-down for the more advanced surfer and can be ridden in waves you would normally ride a Black Bear or Machine Head. Ride slightly bigger for the surfer looking for a higher volume, but performance shortboard. Wave Slave!!!
Constructed using a 36gram EPS Core with a custom Uni-Directional Carbon Tape. Each board is hand laminated using Epoxy Resin and Double Biax Cloth on the deck providing a lighter, stronger board that feels fast and responsive under your feet.
The Uni-Directional Carbon creates additional spring. This is also known as 'kinetic flex'. As the board is placed under pressure into or out of a turn the combination of the EPS core and CarbonTechnology returns energy as the UD Carbon laminated on the bottom of the board helps spring the board back to it's original shape with added speed.

The EPS works well in this model and is a great summer daily driver from Stacey.
Been riding this board for 3 months, in all sorts of conditions and it doesn't disappoint.
This board for me, sits in-between a dedicated small wave groveler (1-3ft) and a small wave performance board (up to 4ft+).
This board is great for those summer conditions, goes across flat sections well and has no trouble generating speed.
The shape is user friendly and quite a forgiving ride, would definitely buy another Stacey.
My Dims: 72kg, 5'10", riding a 5'11" 30.5L (easily floats me)
